A court interpreter is in the vicinity of the persons who need a translation and he or she simultaneously interprets in a soft voice so that the other assembly participants are not disturbed. This is called simultaneous interpretation and its objective is not a translation of a word or word phrase but a translation of the idea and thoughts which must be faithfully interpreted in the required language by the interpreter.
